On 14 and 15 December 2024, the Lingotto Fiere in Turin hosted the tenth edition of Xmas Comics & Games, the most awaited Christmas event for fans of comics, video games, cosplay and board games. In this fantastic context, Real Queen has stood out in the Games Area, thanks to the fantastic collaboration with the Board Game Social Club (BGSC). Two intense days, full of challenges, laughter and new friendships: an experience to remember!
Playing Real Queen: an experience for everyone
There is nothing more beautiful than seeing people of all ages having fun together. During the event, we saw 8-9 year olds challenging grandparents in their 70s, all excited to try Real Queen. Often, those who started a game couldn't stop and immediately played another one! For us it is always a joy to see the surprise and satisfaction on the faces of those who approach our game for the first time.
Both on Saturday and Sunday, the Games Area offered the opportunity to directly challenge the author of the game, Leonardo Catano. Leonardo was a constant presence throughout the weekend, welcoming players with an enthusiasm that was contagious as always. He shared strategies, stories and a lot of passion, transforming every match into a moment of confrontation. Without forgetting the free game sessions in the morning, where our Game Master Yuri Sudati guided the participants step by step, creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
Real Queen and Board Game Social Club
The collaboration with the Board Game Social Club was simply perfect. The boys and girls who are giving life to this project have proven to be an incredible resource, with their passion and dedication making this experience optimal from the organizational phases to the more logistical ones. We are happy to have taken part in it, we know we can count on a reliable partner to organize future tournaments and events in various contexts full of opportunities.
Turin welcomed us with a freezing climate, but the atmosphere inside the Lingotto was very warm! Between the intense work and the many moments of joy, Xmas Comics & Games was an unforgettable experience. We saw happy faces, made new friends and strengthened our community.
